A type convention celebrating the history of typography, the personality of signage, and the character of the characters which build the city today.  The goals of this poster were to bring personality to the type, to display the culture of the city’s visual identity, and to revive classic type into the modern era. The poster features type elements in Helvetica, but hand-drawn elements of iconic New York associated type to relay the idea of character and personality.
